Tottenham Hotspur Introduces Redesigned Club Logo

Tottenham Hotspur has introduced a new logo, making a small change by removing the words “Tottenham Hotspur” that used to sit below their cockerel crest. Some questions have been received about this change from fans.

The club says the new logo highlights its “rich history and unique heritage.” This redesign has been developed over nine months in collaboration with sports branding experts at Studio Nomad.

In addition to the logo, Tottenham has revealed a new silhouette version, a refreshed font, and has brought back the THFC monogram. The new branding will be visible in time for the team’s next home game, which is a Europa League match against AS Roma on November 28.

Head coach Ange Postecoglou shared his thoughts on the change, stating, “We want to be a special kind of football club. Like everyone, we want to win, but we also want to do it our way. Our brand is about continuously challenging ourselves and finding an edge. When we succeed, we create something unique.”

Executive director Donna-Maria Cullen added, “Our club is driven and innovative, both on and off the pitch. This project has focused on bringing everything together, making it better, and taking it to the next level. Our new brand reflects excitement and innovation. We are committed to being bold, exciting, and fun—this is the right direction for us.”

Cullen also mentioned that the team worked hard to consider their history and feedback from their community, creating a brand that everyone can support.

Some fans have expressed their confusion about the changes. One commenter simply asked, “But why?” Others noted they weren’t clear on what was different, with one stating, “It’s the same thing,” and another saying, “‘Remastered’ is just removing some text. It’s not a full rebrand.”
